I grew up in Ashland and graduated from Ashland High School in 1994, after graduation I moved on to college where I was lucky enough to play golf on a scholarship and enjoyed my college years. I was lucky enough to be hired by Lithia Motors in 1999 where I started as an Auditor and worked my way up through different positions with our Support Services Department until I moved to Colorado in 2004 to work with the Regional Vice President of our Denver Region. I spent 7 wonderful years in Colorado in several different positions the last being the Sales Manager for Lithia Volkswagen of Thornton, in Thornton Colorado. During my time in Colorado I met and married my true angel Jennifer. We were married among the Red Rocks in the hills around Denver and it will remain the greatest day of my life. In the summer of 2011 I was given the opportunity to move back home and be the General Manager of Lithia Volkswagen of Medford. Be back home has been a wonderful change for me as my wife and I welcomed our first child in December of 2011, little Abigail Grace Jones. Its amazing being back home where I grew up and giving my daughter the opportunity to be around Grand Parents, Aunt and Uncle and her crazy little cousins! I am excited to be part of the Lithia Volkswagen team here in Medford and am very lucky to have been surrounded by amazing team members that care so much about our customers as well as the store itself. We strive to achieve the same goal of total customer satisfaction and that?s what makes this team so strong. I look forward to all the exciting changes and growth our store has and am lucky to be part of such an amazing company.

He looks forward to coming to work every day to an upbeat, enthusiastic atmosphere and working with customers. My name is Ron Collier. I was born here in Oregon but I grew up in Northern California. I moved back to Oregon in 2004 after living in Florida for 14 years as I really missed the Northwest. I have been in the automotive industry for a year and really enjoy working with the Lithia Volkswagen of Medford team. I take every opportunity to enjoy a day of fishing, hiking or a weekend of camping with my son.
The name "Day" was actually part of my Mom's dream to become an actress like Doris Day. When I was 8 years old my mom, who was single and without work, decided to drive my brother and me to Hollywood in our 1984 Volkswagen Cabriolet. It was a bumpy ride up the grapevine on I-5! She changed her maiden name of DeBoer to Day, and gave it her all! After a few small acting parts including one on the Dick Van Dyke show she moved us back to her hometown of Ashland, Oregon. I started with Lithia Motors during the summer of 1994 doing landscaping and maintenance while still going to high school in Ashland and Brookings, Oregon. In June of 1996, after graduation, I continued in the family business, following in the footsteps of my grandfather Walt, who started Lithia Motors. I loved driving, cleaning, and the service of cars! Especially Volkswagens! I met my wife Crystal at Lithia on June 24th, 1996. Since then, we have had two wonderful daughters that keep us busy. They both want a Volkswagen when they graduate from high school. When time allows I try to ride or work on my motorcycle. I also enjoy skiing at Mt. Ashland. What I like about Lithia Volkswagen of Medford is that we are always encouraged to treat our customers like our family. We work as a team, we are held to the highest standards and we?re given the support needed to exceed our customer's expectations. I have been very fortunate to work for Lithia Motors for the past eighteen years. I look forward to developing life long relationships with our customers!
My name is Cody Fuhrman and I am a native Southern Oregonian. I grew up in Central Point, Oregon. I am a North Medford High School Graduate, class of 2006. Although I have only been in sales for about a year, I have been a car enthusiast ever since I first slid behind a steering wheel. When I am not at work you will likely find me somewhere outdoors. I might be at the river or the racetrack. My wife and I enjoy talking our 8-month-old boxer, Oscar, with us everywhere we go. His favorite destination is the dog park. I am also a collector of World War Two model aircraft. I am a VW enthusiast and can be seen on I-5 getting over 40 MPG in my 2010 Jetta TDI! I believe that buying a new car should be a fun and easy experience and I can?t wait to get the chance to meet you and help you find your next set of wheels.
My name is Angel Gentry. I am new to the Rogue Valley having recently moved from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have worked in the automotive industry for six years and I am excited to be with the Volkswagen brand! My parents served in the U.S. Air Force and growing up, giving me the opportunity to experience living in many diverse places. I have lived everywhere from Oklahoma City to the Philippines. I am happy to be living close to my family and being close to my grandchildren. Living in the Rogue Valley, I am excited to enjoy all of the outdoor activities it offers. I love fishing, hiking and camping. I also enjoy cooking and make a mean Wisconsin bratwurst feast!
Ryan was born in Oregon, and lived most of this life in Nebraska. He graduated from University of Nebraska with a degree in History. He?s a huge Corn Huskers fan and religiously watches them every Saturday in the fall. Ryan returned to Oregon in 2006 and found at home at Lithia Volkswagen of Medford. Ryan has a passion for Volkswagens, so much so that he has completed the VW master certified training program. After obtaining that certification Ryan visited Volkswagen's new state of the art manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Ryan loves the fact that he gets to meet new people every day and make their dream of owning a new car come true.
My name is Andy Werner and I have lived in the Rogue Valley for seven years. I grew up in Reno, Nevada and moved here in 2005 to be closer to family. I love living in the valley, being close to the ocean and having easy access to Portland, Seattle, and San Francisco. You will see me out on I-5 often because I love to travel! I also have family in Japan, so you will find me there too. I have the travel bug and love to try new places. Europe is high on my list of places to explore, especially Germany. My dad's family came to America from Germany in the 1940s and I would love to see where my roots came from. In my down time I enjoy reading, flying airplanes and watching movies. I am an avid aviation fan and can talk about airplanes all day. Volkswagen has an awesome product line up and I am proud to represent their vehicles. My favorite VW is the Jetta GLI, which is the hot rod version of the Jetta. The 2.0 Turbo engine is, in my opinion, the greatest engine VW has ever produced. It delivers great power and economy for the money. I also have a soft spot for the Beetle, as my wife drives her beloved 2009 Gecko Green Bug, "Greeny." I look forward to meeting and discussing with you more about your automotive needs!

My Name is Bob Miller and I am the Service Manager at Lithia Volkswagen of Medford. I was born and raised here in the Rogue Valley and have been in the automobile industry since 1968. I have been with Lithia Motors for 13 years in many capacities, and here at our VW dealership for the last 2 years. This is really an exciting year for Volkswagen as they roll out the new models. I am especially excited to see the newly designed Beetle this year. It has greatly improved from the 1963 Beetle I drove just out of high school! If you have not seen how the Volkswagen brand has improved over the years, please stop by and let us show you. I promise you will be impressed!
Kyle Quast has been working at Lithia Volkswagen of Medford, in Medford Oregon for 1 year and is now an entry level technician. Kyle was born and raised here in Medford and doesn?t see a reason to leave. Kyle enjoys longboarding mostly, and occasional pickup soccer game.
I began my career with Lithia Motors at Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Medford in 2001. I have been at Lithia Volkswagen of Medford since 2009. The camaraderie found at this store has been nothing short of incredible. There is a strong sense of unity between the three main departments (Sales, Service, and Parts). I am proud to share where I work with others. I was born in Eureka, California and moved to the Rogue Valley in 1977. I was raised on a small farm and spent most of my youth raising animals (cows, horses, chickens, pigs, goats, etc.). In fact, I first learned to drive on an old Ford 9N Tractor! My Love for Volkswagens began early on with my first VW, an old 1963 bus. I opened my own import parts house specializing in VW parts. Afte14 years of running my own business, I came to Lithia. I have always enjoyed dealing with people and cars, and have no intention of changing my line of work. In my free time I still tinker with Volkswagens, building air-cooled VW engines. I also enjoy hunting, fishing, and camping.
I got into VW?s in 1977 when I bought my first, a 1965 VW Bug for $400. It was sitting in a field covered in weeds and cobwebs and it ?needed me?. That was my first ?Bug Bite? and I?ve been infected with VW venom in my veins ever since! In the late ?70?s I was co-founder of the Southern Oregon VW Club and am still a member. In the 1980?s and 90?s I started and ran the Oregon Bug-In (an all VW car show, drag race & swap meet) and the Northwest Volkswagen Invitational car show (the top 25 VW show cars on the west coast were invited to participate in a weekend of activities). I also produced and helped others with many other car shows for all types of vehicles. My wife, daughter, son and other family members were always there to help. Working at these shows brought our family closer together, and family continues to be the most important thing to me. After running my own foreign auto parts business for years, in 1996 I came to Lithia VW as the ?VW Expert? in the parts department. Then after being a service writer for a year, I was asked to be the VW Parts Manager (my dream job). After 5 years of managing the VW parts department, Lithia asked me to help all the Lithia stores by working in our corporate offices. I enjoyed helping others further their knowledge and careers in the automotive industry. But now, I have ?come home,? where I belong?.. Besides continuing to be heavily involved with VW?s and custom cars, I enjoying being physically active (recently losing 185 lbs, running a marathon, bungee jumping, mountain climbing and many other things), helping others achieve their dreams, spending time with my family & grandchildren, and collecting toy VW Bugs (+1,000 at this time!) and VW memorabilia (especially Herbie the Love Bug). Stop by and welcome me home?..

When he's not fishing or discovering new waterfalls, you will find him at 801 N. Riverside proudly helping customers with all their Volkswagen needs.
